Senior Pastor Mark Meadows:
I was a nine year old boy attending a Southern Baptist Church in California when a faithful Sunday School teacher led me to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. From that time God has used my Christian parents and the people of God in Eller Memorial, Sharpe Road, and Buchanan Baptist Church to shape my life and help me to mature as a Christian.
In 1982 God called me to the work and ministry of pastor. I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and upon graduation began my first pastorate at Hunt Springs Baptist Church in Sanford, NC. God blessed us with a fruitful ministry of nine years at Hunt Springs before calling our family here to Antioch in January of 1995. These past sixteen years have been years of blessing to our family as we grow together with God’s family here in Lumberton.
My wife, Karen works for Southeastern Veterinary Hospital. our daughter Brandy lives in Lumberton with her daughter Helena. Our son Brandon is on staff with Vertical Church of Bladenboro. He and his wife Kristie have two daughters, MaKayla and Kynadie. Patrick, our youngest son, lives at home. God continues to bless our family and His church here at Antioch as we serve Him here with thankfulness and excitement for what He has done and for what He has yet to do as we continue together sharing one faith, one family, and one future.
